Now playing…

Susanne Abbuehl - Compass

Susanne Abbuehl (Vocals), Wolfert Brederode (Piano), Christof May (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet), Lucas Niggli (Drums, Percussion). and Michel Portal (Clarinet).

Streaming on NAS… started the day withe Susanne’s ‘The Gift’ and now moving on to her most recent release ‘Compass’ from May 2019 which is one fine album. Susanne and the members of the quintet are sounding sublime and this is one fine album, love it!

Actual a Playlist, in Roon, which leverages the HiRes versions of their individual Albums, over the standard Redbook version of this compilation.
Actually it is the last 3 albums that are available in HiRes

I wish Seldom Seen Kid & Leaders were re-released in 24-bit, however do have the double LP versions of them all!

ditto… can’t remember the last time I played this. Possibly I played it to death back in the 70’s.

My big regret… not seeing enough live bands back in their heyday.
