Ella Fitzgerald - Clap Hands, Here Comes Charlie!, prompted to play this after reading about the merits of a particular issue. After checking, luckily I have said disc and sq is indeed excellent, placing Ella and her small group of musicians in the room with you.

Psychedelic/folk. Second play… it might be a slow grower.

Kate Bush: Remastered part 3

Downloaded the Hires from Qobuz. Sounds amazing. Listening to it on my office system. NAS/Roon/Mac/DAC-V1/Ruark MR1-2 working well.

Thelonious in Action

The other disc from the Five Spot. There is a Monk recording which I’ve seen, but not heard, recorded with Coltrane at the Five Spot. Apparently that was recorded with Trane’s wife at the desk, so I’m not sure of the quality.

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

Mostly for ‘I Want You’ and ‘Absolutely Sweet Marie’. But there really isn’t a duff tune on this album.

In my all-time top 10 and my favourite band of all time. I’ve got mint copies of this and Closer, bought on release as well as a few spares from different releases over the years (wife thinks I’m crazy how many I’ve got!). Unfortunately only two studio releases but what masterpieces.

Just got this today. It’s a record that causes a lot of excitement on this forum and elsewhere so I streamed it, and rather liked what I heard. Ordered it on vinyl- obviously because vinyl sounds so so much better that digital (hard hat now donned…!)
What is interesting is that on Amazon uk it’s over £60 whereas on Amazon de it is €36 - took a day or two longer to arrive.
Will have a listen later.
