Someone posted the Flaming Lips upthread, so I decided to follow suit with a UK first press of this:
That was me. Race for the Prize is a real highlight of live shows ( have seen them live +++)
Warren Zevon. Excitable boy. Another album overshadowed by a famous hit single. Absolutely incredible debut from ‘78.

It’s due out on the 22nd of this month so something to look forward to
Avi Buffalo. Single. Thanks to crispy duck. Never heard of this artist but on the evidence of this track will investigate further.

I saw this up thread and the temptation to play (one of) mine got the better of me.
Arab Strap - Monday at the Hug and Pint [2003]
I know it’s only Sunday but I fancied a quick one with the boys at said pub.
Methinks you are enjoying her music.
I’m still upset we lost to the Habs in the ’79 Cup finals, but my blood will be blue until the day I die…
Yes, I agree, I do have very good taste in conductors… ![]()
One of many boots from New Order’s 1989 tour - in those days, every show was different, so it’s worth getting every boot from that outing.
Definitely, especially loving Saint Cloud but also All her other albums, I am still waiting for Out In A Storm to arrive. I managed to listen to her early recordings you mentioned on Bandcamp, the recording is quite rough but the emotion in the performance more than makes up for it.
