Black Uhuru - Red
Laura Veirs - “Saltbreakers”
nice to see Dan Steel and Gian again, I have been lead to great music by each of them.
Camel. Moonmadness. I wasn’t really a fan of prog rock in the 70s but recent recommendations on the forum have been surprisingly enjoyable. This is from @Clive I think. Might check out the rest of their catalogue.
I’m glad you liked it. On that basis I’d recommend you try Mirage next. Most Camel albums reward with repeated listening.
Thanks.will do Clive
Joan Armatrading - “Walk Under Ladders”
I’ve ordered this, but it’s taken the big river over a month to deliver. Looking forward to actually hearing.
If you’re desperate to hear it, the full album is available on YouTube.
The name of the band cracked me up
Lee “Scratch” Perry & Friends - Sipple Out Deh - The Black Ark Years.
Various “Friends” spread across this two disc, 44 choon set, a potted history of Lee Perry’s creative influence on the music of Jamaica.
An absolute belter, as we say.
