Yes Highlights - The Very Best of Yes / 1993 Atlantic / US CD / 7825172

USA compilation bought while on holiday there, which had a number of tracks I didn’t have at the time. The lack of a Roger Dean cover design is the only thing that isn’t great about this CD.

Saffire The Uppity Blues Women - Havin’ The Last Word
After 25 years, 9 albums and constant touring Ann Rabson, Gaye Adegbalola and Andra Faye decided to call it a day and this 2009 album is Havin’ the Last Word. Great blues album with witty lyrics.

This is just soooo good, and with a run time of only 32 mins - I want to play it twice!

Judie Tzuke. Sports Car. 40 yr old Vinyl.

Not played this in years. Saw her a few times on the college circuit, back in the day. I now find her voice a bit annoying, however there are some great moments and two tracks where the band have obviously been listening to a lot of Steely Dan. I had to look up to check Larry Carlton wasn’t playing an excellent Guitar solo on “The Rise of Heart”

If you bought them new without OBI’s they might be fakes, a lot of them around, especially on that well know auction site. Can happen with second hand ones of course if the previous owner didn’t care for them.

Big fan of her albums. Saw her a couple of years ago. Great voice still but changed a lot.

Strange title. Strange album.
Enjoying it lots on Qobuz hi-res.
This may be one of my favourite albums going forward.
