What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

Continuing the Zep fest… God they knocked it out of the park that night. Okay, some of Jimmy’s solos weren’t quite sharp but the atmosphere and the overall performance was amazing.

Personally I’m glad they didn’t tour (much against my personal instincts). There is that one glorious night recorded for posterity where the gods once again walked the earth and reminded us of why we believe!

An old one but sounding great. Forcione in a more restrained, less flashy groove. Charlie Haden subtle and intuitive as always.

Quincy Jones. Vinyl 1981. Enjoyable and uplifting. The credits read like a Who’s Who from that era.

Horslips - The Book of Invasions, A Celtic Symphony (1977)

As Alan Partridge MIGHT say - “Horslips, the band Jethro Tull always wanted to be”

Reminded by @Sloop_John_B earlier, this is Celtic rock at its very peak from one of Ireland’s most revered groups.
