Agreed. Composed the most perfect pop song in Dancing Queen.
Again subjective but I watched a music theory program years ago that broke down the composition and concluded it contained every perfect musical element.
I also like the fact it was one of the first songs to start mid chorus rather than on a first verse.
It’s still the only song that when played at parties gets everyone up.

The ever wonderful Arun Ghosh at sunny but soggy Snape Maltings with an ace band: Chris Williams; Idris Rahman; Ruth Goller and top drummer Sarathy Korwar. The usual Punjab via Bolton jazz with arrangement of Irving Berlin, Blondie and T Rex songs. Marvelous!

Nick Drake, 2nd Album 1970.

Often catagorised as Folk, but I think it was Richard Thompson who said he wasn’t Folk, it was Jazz. Probably correct. A real pity he died thinking he was a failure. He is now much loved.
