Apparently her engineer had recorded pretty much all of her live gigs, but never got round to releasing them. Covid lockdown gave them the idea if sifting through a huge number if recordings to find the best…….so not one particular concert on the album. Great album.

That explains the variable quality. Not impressed with this album at all. I have seen her live and she is way better than this sounds.

A beautiful album of French and Spanish guitar music, by the great guitarist Sean Shibe. It’s his first for Pentatone and the sound is just lovely.
