Not the usual go-to Classic Records version, but an early 1980s German pressing. ROCK!

This a great pop folk album that covers his feelings about death and grieving of his father, its not all down has some lovely upbeat an beautiful folk pop moments with choirs and strings, quite life affirming at times. Two listens on Qobuz and now bought from Bandcamp a keeper for me. Not heard of him before this is his 6th album apparently.

Sarah Jane Morris and Tony Rémy - Sweet Little Mystery

Modern takes (possibly a bit MoR, Radio Two-ish) on John Martyn classics. But where’s the harm with a flat white and oat, on a dull bank holiday Monday morning?!
