Peter Gabriel - So.
It only seems befitting to switch lead singer (Genesis)
So is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Gabriel, released on 19 May 1986 by Charisma Records. After working on the soundtrack to the film Birdy (1984), producer Daniel Lanois was invited to remain at Gabriel's Somerset home during 1985 to work on his next solo project. Initial sessions for So consisted of Gabriel, Lanois and guitarist David Rhodes, although these grew to include a number of percussionists.
Although Gabriel continued to use the pioneering Fairlight CMI...

Probably an odd album to play first on thing but looking forward to finally being able to listen to Pink Floyd in hi res. Always loved this, takes me back to bean bags and a shared flat.

Steve Winwood - Back in the High Life.
After all of the ‘drama’ today (lest us forget the controversial ‘Ad…’ word), I hope we can all look towards a “Higher Love”
Back in the High Life is the fourth solo album by English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood, released on 30 June 1986. The album proved to be Winwood's biggest success to that date, certified Gold in the UK and 3× Platinum in the US, and it reached the top twenty in most Western countries. It collected three Grammy Awards and generated five hit singles, starting with "Higher Love", which became Winwood's first Billboard Hot 100 number-one chart topper, coming Musically...

Keep forgetting I actually saw them live in 1970 must because I was either too drunk at the time or they were unmemorable.
Hard to believe but this sounds even better in hi res, DSOTM Pink Floyd

Clare Teal, The many sides of Claire Teal. Love Imelda May’s call me. Blondie’s call me. Even Carly Rae Jepsen’s call me maybe. This time it is Claire Teal calling.
Thank you @AlanP for mentioning.

Cameron Carpenter - Bach & Hanson.
Taylor Cameron Carpenter (born 18 April 1981) is an American organist and composer. In 2009, he became the first organist to ever be nominated for a Grammy Award for his solo album, Revolutionary. Carpenter designed and commissioned the International Touring Organ (ITO) from Marshall and Ogletree, a one-of-a-kind, customized, “full-scale portable organ sonically tailorable to any acoustic environment”, which took ten years and cost $2 million to build. Since its premiere in M Taylor Cameron Carpe...

Clark Terry - In Orbit ( OJC Riverside)
Prompted by @TheKevster earlier post of Tubby Hayes featuring Clark Terry reminded me of, and I just had to reach for, this album.
Recorded in 1958 with Terry on Flugelhorn, and a fantastic line up of Monk, Sam Jones & Philly Joe Jones.
Clark Terry appeared on a few Monk albums including Brilliant Corners but I think this is one if not the only time Monk appeared as a side or supporting musician (please correct me if I’m wrong)
