Seen this few times here so thought I’d give it a go.
Well, I’ve made it through but unfortunately won’t be repeating the experience. Nothing wrong per se just doesn’t float my boat.

I have this on vinyl but not played for ages so thanks to @YetiZone for prompting me to give it a stream.

I’ll Be Your Mirror - Various artists

These things are usually a waste of time. And much of this is, indeed, a big “why’d they bother?” But it’s worth hearing Fontaines D.C.'s take on The Black Angel’s Death Song and, especially, Iggy making a magnificent, ungodly racket with European Son.

Slade - Slayed.

Well that’ll teach me. An impulsive buy while shopping in Sainsburgers. I didn’t see the obvious sticker that said it was “spatter vinyl”. Eek! :astonished: However it plays beautifully. The cover looks like a poor photo copy compared to my original from 1972. As for sound quality, it’s blooming awful. Not sure what/where they got the master from, but my beat to hell old copy sounds vastly superior even through the scratches and crackles which plague it.

Oh well, it’s fun to own, won’t wear my stylus out so quick and will preserve what’s left of my original.

Next time I won’t buy records when I’m in a hurry.
