What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

Can still remember their Manager asking me for the size of the stage and when I told him he said nope he didn’t want the size of the hall to which I replied nope that was the size of the stage.

New blood joins this earth,
And quickly he’s subdued.
Through constant pained disgrace
The young boy learns their rules.

With time the child draws in.
This whipping boy done wrong.
Deprived of all his thoughts
The young man struggles on and on he’s known
A vow unto his own,
That never from this day
His will they’ll take away.

What I’ve felt,
What I’ve known
Never shined through in what I’ve shown.
Never be.
Never see.
Won’t see what might have been.

What I’ve felt,
What I’ve known
Never shined through in what I’ve shown.
Never free.
Never me.
So I dub thee unforgiven.

They dedicate their lives
To running all of his.
He tries to please them all –
This bitter man he is.

Throughout his life the same –
He’s battled constantly.
This fight he cannot win –
A tired man they see no longer cares.

The old man then prepares
To die regretfully –
That old man here is me.

It Bites - Thank You and Goodnight

Possibly the most exciting band I’ve ever seen live. This album captures most of their hot songs, but the sound is rather shrill.

Liked the cover, know nothing about the band, decided to give it a play.

1 track in and will be back for more good stuff @suzywong

Autumn - When Lust Evokes The Curse

What is it about the Dutch, fabulous singers and ‘metal’ bands. Do they have a factory somewhere?

To paraphase Max Boyce and the ‘Outside Half Factory”
I’ll tell you all a story, 'tis a strange and a weird tale:
Of a factory in my valley, not fed by road or rail.
It’s built beneath the mountain, beneath the coal and clay.
It’s where we make the outside-halves, that’ll play for Wales one day.

Lady Blackburd, black acid soul. Had to do more work this evening. Not much time left in the day. This stellar album is getting me into the right spirit effectively. :relaxed:

Radio Garden.

I know I’ve posted this here before, but It’s worth another shout.

Worldwide radio stations, accessed using a fun interface, albeit in fairly low res.

@Dreadatthecontrols … … … Right now I’m tuned into Alpha Boys School Radio … Selecta!

The Stones - Let It Bleed sacd.

Following a poke in the ribs from @AlanP last week, I don’t seem to be able to stop playing this.

Yes, the sacd really is that good, with the best version of “Gimme Shelter” ever.

Heard the track ‘Teeth’ as incidental music on a recent tv show so giving them a stream, definite Underworld vibe to them.
