Personal favourites, the title track & Bloodflow.
Interesting recording too. Rough edges with a strong atmosphere and dynamics.

Primal Scream - Demodelica.

Just as “The Memphis Tapes” became a forum favourite, over the “Give Out, But Don’t Give Up” album, I can see this “demos and work-in-progress” one becoming every bit as popular as the original “Screamadelica” album.

In fact, if you love the original album, then this one is downright essential.

Belter!

Looks like tonight is going to be a bit of a Floyd solo night. So, let’s proceed with a bit more Rog – triple vinyl.

This Winter Machine - Kites. Dialling the noise down a bit with some fine Yorkshire prog.

Bob Dylan - Greatest Hits.

Moving on to some of Dylan’s compilations.

Today’s recommendation in my daily newspaper:

Joan as Police Woman, Tony Allen, Dave Okumu - The Solution Is Restless.

I am very surprised. Nice album. Very skilled drummer. Definitely worth a listen.

The solo Floydian journey continues with the Saucers on double vinyl. This is so much fun!

What: Metallica - Ride The Lightening
Why: Cos I felt like something loud!

I remember buying this on vinyl, not knowing the band or their music but I liked the cover.
First thought, *this is quite pleasant”
42 seconds later “Oo’er, I wasn’t expecting that” and until The Call of Ktulu I don’t think I could tell one note from another.
37 years later and how things have changed.

John Mayer. Continuum. CD. Quite brilliant imho.

Core players are Mayer, Pino Palladino and Steve Jordan, currently with the Stones.
