My last for the day, The Dave Brubeck Quartet Time Outtakes
Christine Collister Live
I’m actually playing the Fledgling version, which is ripped to my server, although I do have this release too for some reason. I really don’t understand why Christine Collister never became a massive star, although Clive Gregson suggested one plausible reason, which I shan’t post here.
Donald Byrd - Places And Spaces (Qobuz/Blue Note)
Checking this out as it’s just had a Blue Note Classic Series re-issue
Funky but veering into the cheese section. Conjurs up images of a particular furry dice sporting Cortina/Capri driving Jazz Funk crowd of yore
Probably not one that’s making the cut onto a turntable at Dread Mansions
And the third?
Hi Apye, hows the pressing? Cheers
Yeah, I wasnt doubting it
Oh come on, do tell!!!
It seems @Neil0001 and my music tastes cross again…
This one I again bookmarked to follow up on for no other reason than I liked his description
Reading up on Qobuz she has quite a resume
Ana Popovic - Live for Live
If you like Beth Hart I humbly submit one gives Ana listen
Prokofiev. Vinyl. Very well recorded and clearly brilliantly played.
Played this a couple of times and so far it sounds like they are playing all the wrong notes. Or the right notes in the wrong order. Not getting it.
Thanks for the feedback
