Graham Parker. Howlin’ wind and Heat treatment.
We were talking about bands that appeared at the Hope &Anchor so had to play this Brace of Belters.
Saw him live at our local arts centre a couple of years back, he was quite grumpy. At one point he invited requests, lots of shouts for Rumour stuff, Heat Treatment, Howlin Wind, Soul Shoes etc he refused to do any of them then started playing a kazoo!
What a great album this is to chill out to! Is it jazz or pop? Not sure but its bloody good!!
Graham Parker. Saw him in Manchester and he was very good but he made the mistake of having Southside Johnny & the Asbury Dukes as support and they stole the show.

Land Of Ra from Idris Ackamoor’s
An Angel Fell album.
A nice mixture of jazz, reggae and spacey stuff.
The following track is good too, as per the whole album. Nice melding of styles.
Katherine Priddy - The Eternal Rocks Beneath
CD|2021
Thanks to this thread for another nice recommendation.
Finally got around to a listen to War on Drugs latest. They seem to have developed and refined their style. Title track sounds like Journey from the 1980’s!
Dexter Gordon - Daddy Plays The Horn in glorious mono. Lovely reissue from Pure Pleasure.
On vinyl…
