Various Artists - Front Line Sounds Of Reality
I have waited 43 years for this the third release from the Virgin Frontline compilations series and I am over the moon as I have just got my hands on this new double LP that has just been released!
Frontline II, from 1978, is one of my top two reggae samplers, never far from my deck and probably played at least once on each of the last 43 years… I think it is that good and Sounds Of Reality is up there too!

Let It Be - Glyn Johns mix
Glyn was a real star in the Get Back documentary. His mix reflects the sessions but not sure it would have worked as a commercial release.
Worked out the intro to Don’t Let Me Down on guitar this afternoon. Passed by Macca’s studio in Rye yesterday and gave him a nod.

Based on her posture and the fact that her left hand is obscured I’m sure that LP is a great release 
I struggle to truly appreciate a lot of modern jazz, but this is rather wonderful.
Tuneful, melodic and masterful musicians.
The quality of this Qobuz stream of a 60 year old live recording is good too.
