Happy 68th Birthday Elliot Easton!
born 18th December 1953 in Brooklyn, New York
Much as I loved Yeti, Wolf City and Lemmingmania, this has never grown on me as much. Still keeping at it. Amon Düül II Dance of The Lemmings - good in parts.
I have to say that I luv it but I’m a sucker for all their early music.
I do love it when they get into gear and the guitars start crunching. I prefer side 2 to Tintelman’s so it’s growing on me.
Yep I know what you mean, another great ‘underground’ band from that wonderful era of music.
Now playing
Vocal powerplay by Ronstadt in songs from her childhood. Her grandfather was Mexican and sang these tradionals for her.
Maybe not to everyones liking but man what an excellent recording and what a voice! Such a shame she can not perform anymore.
Oxford Camerata | Medieval Carols | 1993
Someone has asked for ‘some good old Christmas carols’, so they are getting this which is wonderful but not quite what they were expecting
Chewing Gum Telegram, Stumbling… etc.
That was more like it!
Coming to think it’s really only Syntelman’s that I am hesitant about.
Bloody hell! That takes me back! Garland Jeffreys! Must dig him out…
