Absolutely outstanding performer live. A true virtuoso to the point of being unbelievable in the sounds he can produce from a stringed instrument. If he is still performing try and get to see him.

Just streaming this and although it was considered a bit too laid back and ‘soft’ when it was released it now sounds pretty good to me. Maybe it just has the live sound that I miss but it displays Chrissie’s voice so well, and the arrangements with the background strings and choir add something ‘Special’.
