What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

Okay I’m an idiot! Just realised why the 2020 thread was so quiet!

Pink Floyd, A Saucerful Of Secrets (2011 remaster), cd rip

Let’s get some proper ‘older listener’ music on

Vaughan Williams, Riders to the Sea, Ambrosian Singers, Orchestra Nova, Meredith Davies, EMI, 1971, CD.

Bloody awful, apart from the last movement. Avoid it’s siren call.

First music of 2021, Accidental Tourists The Alaska Sessions. Great trio jazz!

From 1956, the divine Miss D sings a superb selection of GAS standards, backed with stunning arrangements by a young Quincy Jones and his Orchestra.

More Quincy and his orchestra. A rather odd recording this one, but a great performance.

Was listening to michael kiwanuka last night for the first time. Thought that his voice and ESE would go well together on some of his tracks…
Just a thought.

I also like & recommend this - playing at chez-HL right now. MJ doing it her way.

Well-recorded too. It appears the CDs of the PMJ content on YT aren’t as good as the replay on YT - such a shame.

Thorbjørn Risager & The Black Tornado - Come On In.

A new discovery for me at the back end of 2020, so a bit of continuity into 2021, besides which, it’s blowing away the cobwebs following last night’s overindulgence, ken.

Belter, of the highest order. :+1:
