Did exactly the same to me at at gig in Birmingham some years ago now, faced away from the audience the whole show. Not professional at all. Now James Brown and BB King WERE great showmen, always really made sure to put on the best performance possible

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… putting on Shai to relax while working with my wife in the kitchen nearby preparing a meal for ourselves and a friend. He and his wife recently had their first born and family and friends have signed up to prepare a number of meals for the couple. Last time was Chicken Soup with Corn Bread and a Blueberry Pie. This time around will be Meatballs and Spaghetti with a loaf of Italian Bread and a Mix Berry pie (Rasberry/Blueberry/Blackberry/Strawberry). Anyway Shai and the trio are sounding absolutely sublime!
