Prompted after just watching the film Detroit about the 1967 Algiers Motel murders in Detroit, a highly recommended viewing.
The group The Dramatics are depicted in the film, I’ve not heard much of this group until now
Prompted by @Matteo - a lot of fine songs on this album. Plus superb drumming by Stewart Copeland
Well, it depends… Do you remember the dress code? I had started my career and it would have looked rather odd for an HR Director, don’t you think?
Seriously, I agree with you, it’s never too late to discover a new music genre

Staying with music from Brazil, 2 LP’s on 1 CD - the releases that followed their excellent Telecommunication, these are equally as good recordings and great summer music.

The London Oratory Junior Choir
I’t a personal tradiiton to listen to the St John or St Mathew Passion on Good Friday. This year it’s the St Mathew and I picked this version from Gardiner. It is simply superb, with high quality soloists and choirs. A highly emotional work and interpretation, notwithstanding one’s religious beliefs.
Archiv sound quality is, to my ears, near perfect.

Mick Hucknall - Tribute To Bobby, the Bobby in question being Mr Blue Bland. The songs are given a modern treatment which works well as he is obviously not going to match the originals.
