What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

During the recent Bandcamp Fee waving Fridays, I discovered Dylan Henner

The first album was digital and the second on cassette. Both satisfied my curiosity and admiration for a talented musician.

The Black Angels | Live at LEVITATION |
Released a few weeks ago this one does what it says on the tin, from my perspective TBA can do no wrong I love their rock and psyche that harps back to the 60s and 70s and yet stays contemporary. Keep it up boys.

Ill Considered III - vibrant urgent rhythmic jazz from Idris Rahman & Co. Similar in feel to Sons of Kemet. They have loads of releases to choose from - often live recordings. Streaming III download whilst waiting for the reissue vinyl via Bandcamp.

Just down the road from me… played there myself a few times.

Probably the best Reid Miles/Francis Wolff covers ever.

Raise The Pressure - Electronic.

Some great moments here, for me it’s up there with Johnny and Barney’s work with their other bands. Plus, Karl Bartos too, on & co-writing some notable tracks.
