This has just popped onto the door mat. First listen is that it is good to have them back. Along with the great lost Shack and Gomez, three of my favourite bands of the time.

Shakey Graves - Roll The Bones X
Bluesy folk tales, he uses all available limbs and digits to play banjos, guitars, kick his homemade tambourine and bass drum made from an old suitcase. A great 2011 debut from Graves aka Alejandro Rose-Garcia, the 2021 rerelease has an additional album of demos, rarities and deep cuts.

Gosh, I bought that Castle Comms CD from a stall in Croydon market back in about 1989. Still gets a regular listen.

On first listen, I wasn’t too sure about this CD (Coryell’s last gig). Second time around, it’s really starting to draw me in… there is some remarkable interplay between the two guitarists.

Does anyone manage to keep up with this thread!?

Because my musical tastes have changed substantially since my teenage years. And omg what a voice you have Alison.

Ashley goes electronic!!

Just released, latest from the country star and a huge departure from her fantastic previous album “Sparrow”. It’s all synths, beats and lush vocals, not your usual country album and a brave move by this wonderful artist.

Do I like it? I have absolutely no idea yet :joy:
