What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

I love a good live album. The mark on the top right is where I peeled off the price tag in my exorbitant youth. I have grey hair now and it still annoys me!

Great album though!!

Veering ever so closely to the middle of the road, but so tastefully done, and with just enough feel to make the whole thing a pleasant, downtime listen.

The perfectly titled, The Errant Charm - Vetiver

Close musical cousins of Mojave 3 on this one.

Another oldie from the man, lovely stuff with his trademark close mike recordings and production.

Next up an album I had forgotten I had, I’m in the midst of reorganising my collection. I have not spun it since the late 80’s. It’s not only a great album but I’m blown away by the sound quality!

Strange coincidence - I’ve also played this a couple of times over the past two days. It is an excellent album

A long while ago at the Bridge house, Canning town and still a few years ago….the World’s end, Tilbury……what fun times.

Every Memorial Day weekend, Bergquist and Detweiler host Nowhere Else Festival on their farm in Clinton County, Ohio. Due to Covid-19 the dates have been moved to Labor Day Weekend, September 3-5, 2021. Not a band that is well known but do love their music and Karin’s voice is simply beautiful!

Playing 24/48 hi-res files of Jaimie Branch’s forthcoming album Fly or Die Live, recorded in Zurich just before lockdown last year. Amazing recording, superb performance. Can’t wait for the vinyl next month.
