Vince Gill - When Love Finds You

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… continuing on through the noon hour with the fine vocals and guitar of Vince Gill. My wife commented on his lovely voice on the album I just played so taking another of his albums out for a spin, When I lived in Dallas in the mid-90’s Vince was at his prime and all over the airways. …and he still sounds fantastic, this is one sweet album!

Picked these two UK LPs at a Record Fair on Saturday (glad to have these back).
Quick clean and for rotation.

This was only sold from Rumer’s web-site

Mesmerising.

Also picked up a 1975 UK CBS Pressing of this (TML 2nd Pressing)

Needed a good clean, but quiet vinyl and good soundstage.

Now the question is, does one need the 2014 US RSD or the MoFi 45rpm reissues?

Not hi-res. Not new. But…a brilliant work of art.

Elton John - Peachtree Road, this release from '05 still finds him in fine voice and a return to form of sorts.

Ziv Ravitz - No Man Is an Island

Ziv Ravitz (drums, electornics), Nir Felder (guitar), Will Vinson (saxophone), Gilad Hekselman (guitar on tracks 1, 2, 6), and Camila Meza (vocals on track 9).

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/24)… continuing on with Ziv who I have not played in quite awhile, so taking ‘No Man Is an Island’ out for a spin and he and the band are sounding sublime! I was fortunate to see Ziv play in Seattle in the fall of 2019 and hope to have the opportunity to see him play again some day.
