What are you listening to in 2021 and why might anyone be interested

Bought this album because:
I love Dusty - one of the great singers.
I love the songs. Perfection.
I like AP releases

This? Nice, but nothing to write home about.
A bit bland, sadly.

Was hoping for more insight into the songs, and frankly a bit more…well, just more

Oh well. I’ll stick to Dusty.

Didn’t do an A-B comparison with the redbook version, but this one sounds good, while not specifically audiophile as some other albums…

Bill Wyman & The Rhythm Kings - Struttin’ Our Stuff, always really enjoy the tracks with Georgie Fame on lead vocals.

World Party - Goodbye Jumbo, CD rip. Not played this in a while and good to revisit Karl Wallinger’s early 90s (perhaps, finest) album.

My Darline Clementine play songs from Elvis Costello’s country repertoire, and very good it is too. We have just booked them for next year.

After watching a rather lacklustre France scrape a draw against a battling Hungary, time for some music - it’s Brit vibes virtuoso Feldman, with a stellar supporting cast including Tubby Hayes, Ronnie Scott, Jimmy Deuchar, Dizzy Reece, Derek Humble, Lennie Bush et al…
