Because this morning I found that @seakayaker had been listening to a lot of MG overnight so I thought I would gently start my Sunday morning with her very first and self-released album that was otherwise known as The Bedroom Sessions because it was recorded in her hospital bedroom while spending months recovering from being run over by an SUV while out riding her bicycle age 19. All the songs were written by her and she produced the album herself.
On my way to Ticehurst yesterday to visit Pashley Manor I passed by Rosemary Lane where Bert lived and recorded this lovely album.

I hear you’re mad about Brubeck
I like your eyes, I like him too
He’s an artist, a pioneer
We’ve got to have some music on the new frontier
Liking this on Spotify atm. Album cover and blue vinyl on your deck caught my eye. Thanks for the recommendation.
Abbey Lincoln - Abbey is Blue, Riverside/Craft (2020)
Perfect for Sunday morning some fantastic musicianship on this record.
iJust shows we’re all different, in a good way. I love Dusty but also love this rendition of her songs. Outstanding sound on the Analogue Productions vinyl too.
Vive le difference indeed.
I don’t hate it. Was just hoping I’d love it.
