What are you listening to in 2022 and why might anyone be interested

A re release of his 2004 album with extra trax and also jigged running order. Not the greatest singer but an enjoyable album nonetheless.

Stevie Wonder. Music of my mind.
Because everyday I want to fly my kite and get on my camel and ride.

Antonio Forcione, Tears of joy. :relaxed:

With the Meet Me in London album, I can’t help feeling the Naim logo is slapped on because it’s covering Sabina’s name. Perhaps it’s any after work to standardize the look across albums. But this one you have isn’t covered! Nice. :+1:

Sun Records The Blues Years 1950 - 1956 (Charley/Sun Records)

Amazing comprehensive 9LP set of Blues & RnB, fantastic book with track by track notes and photos.
This was one of my first introductions to the Blues, some name brand artists and obscurities like Pat Hare who sings I’m Gonna Murder My Baby, he meant it and did shortly after!

Wow, this is pretty good!
Only played the first couple of tracks but it’s quite something. Reminds me when I used to play my Mum’s Widor 7" EP when I was a kid, only with effects.

Anna von Hausswolff All Thoughts Fly

Recorded in a Swedish church on a ‘North German Baroque Organ’ (I don’t know the finer points of organry) which accounts maybe for its huge sound.
Superb.

Callas as Tosca
1964, EMI boxset.

Simply great… words fail me listening to this.

I should I suppose compare Callas’ performance with her mono recording of the 50’s that I have in CD but, frankly, at the moment…Happy as a clam.
