Incidentally, on a similar tip, another book I’m always banging on about that I would highly recommend is Alpha Boys School Cradle Of Jamaican Music.
The seemingly unlikely story of the institute run by Sister Ignatious where many of Jamaica’s finest musicians learnt music.
The first time to my knowledge that anyone has tried to properly research and document an amazing story/history that needs to be told and more widely exposed to anyone remotely interested in Jamaican music (or music period for that matter.)
After streaming the DJ Yoda comp recommended by Charles the Tidal auto ting tastefully selected this.
I have the LP at home but amongst the constant stream of records arriving not played in a while and kind of forgot how good it is
Bill Wyman & The Rhythm Kings - Struttin’ Our Stuff, includes a great version of " Tobacco Road " with Paul Carrack on vocals and Peter Frampton lead guitar.

Chantal Chamberland. Temptation. This beautiful album was recommended to me by @Richieroo but suspect it was directed to me in error. Nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed it.
