On vinyl…
What was your impression of the vocals-“grand piano”?
The Beatles - Revolver Super Deluxe - Qobuz 24/96
Like many here been listening to this over the last few days, I like the stereo mix a lot, mono mix sounds like my CD rip from the box set, I really enjoyed listening to the evolution of the songs in the outtakes. Must download the 24/94 copy I have bought, a weird stuttering at one point in the streamed copy seems consistent over several listens.
Wren, have a listen to Thank Christ For The Bomb. A cracking album.
Just didn’t sound right to me @QuickSticks . When I put on the original it was like greeting an old friend.
Brian Blessed is a national treasure @Pete_the_painter but his voice didn’t work for me on this album.
Big Country. Vinyl. Plenty to sing along to.
Bob James and Earl Klugh. One on One. Half speed remaster. Really like this, I play it a lot and it’s a brilliant recording on Vinyl.
" … is a 1979 collaboration album by jazz keyboardist Bob James and guitarist Earl Klugh that won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in 1981."
The Barr Brothers - Queens of the Breakers.
