Just really discovered these guys. Very impressed, looks like another vinyl investment required…

Some more classical guitar. Bream and Williams. 2X Vinyl. Relaxing.

Have a listen to Jamie’s Blues - delightful.

It just sounds superb!

The wife came home from shopping and shouted from the hallway “which record is that?”. She can instantly tell if I’m listening to vinyl or streaming now.

I think we need to invest more in our vinyl chain. But that’s a quest for 2023, we’re just enjoying the music with the 252/300 burning in.

‘The Kick Inside’ - Kate Bush

One hell of a debut.

I keep meaning to go I search of a mint copy…

One more for @Steve_S, last before I get down to housework chores…

One of my favourite Martyn albums. “On the Cobbles” CD. 2004.

“It features guest appearances from Paul Weller, Nick McCabe, and long-time collaborator Danny Thompson.”

Gundula Janowitz / BPO / Karajan - Strauss - Four Last Songs

I have several versions of this work and I keep oscillating back and forth between various preferred versions. For some reason this is often overlooked, but it it a truly stunning performance, certainly up there with Schwarzkopf, Norman, Isokowsi, Popp, Te Kanawa et al.

Kate Bush - Before The Dawn

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… kicking off this Sunday with this 29 track show from Kate and a fabulous support group of actors and musicians from this 2014 stage performance at London’s Apollo Hammersmith theater. …and they are sounding sublime!

Recent purchase on CD - also had this many years ago.
I like it a lot - though Steve’s guitar can be a bit high in the mix…
