Had to give this another listen - sooo good. These cats could swing.

They don’t sound like a quartet that is missing a drummer but rather a complete trio - world-class players, one and all. Oscar Peterson on piano, Ray Brown on bass, and Herb Ellis on guitar.

Kasey Musgraves star-crossed, definitely not as accessible as Golden Hour. Guess it’s a break up album and never meant to as bubbly as its predecessor

Edit, it has grown on me, poor girls pouring her heart out “golden hour fades to black”
