Gabor Szabo - Dreams (1968)… reissue from 2021 just arrived, sounds ‘ok’… but just glad to have any vinyl copy, bloody hard to get… some handy guitar work.

These new Blue Note Classic Vinyl Series reissues sound superb!
McCoy Tyner first grabbed my attention with his incredible solo on the title track of Coltrane’s “My Favorite Things”… this one’s more modern, all originals and with just as much real groove.

Released initially as a numbered “Limited Edition” but later issued on general release. Still have my numbered version. Not so sure it is worth anything though ……except to me!

Agreed. The Real McCoy is a superb album. It was the first of his that I purchased - made a few more since, including the recent Tone Poet ‘Expansions’ reissue.

Sympathy for Life by Parquet Courts. Love a bit of NY post-punk and looking forward to seeing them at Brixton Academy in June
