Thanks for the EG Kight post @NigelB Not an artist I was aware of but I have spun 3 on the belt and all have been very enjoyable. Pity there doesn’t seem to be any on vinyl that I can find

1994 double vinyl compilation of funky Hammond tracks on Blue Note.

Its been a long wait since the CD versions in 2013, but happy to report that the box set is really well done.

Remember when she first broke through and have that original vinyl, one of the stand out tracks for me was always Small Blue Thing and still is, liquid warm voice, beguiling about covers it.
