Came across the 2 disc version of Gold today, comes with a 12” of four of their most famous songs not on the main hits album. A near mint copy, it sounds fabulous.

HiCap 2 - serial no. 279899 which makes it a 2009 model - as you’ve probably gathered apart from the “Core” which is a grade B Naim refurb, all my units are 2nd hand - and of similar age and value of previous system items. I’m planning on having certain bits, which will be staying long term, serviced etc on an age/condition basis.

Any further changes/upgrades I think will be too expensive for now, and I think this system once serviced will be able to hold its own.

Unless I win the lottery of course!
