What are you listening to in 2022 and why might anyone be interested

And where was my invite - burger ‘n chips for me!

It’s a difficult one to listen to sometimes with the repeated tracks an’ all! Doesn’t flow too well as an album - if that makes sense?

Given it’s a 3 album remix collection there was plenty of pauses whilst I balanced the chilli

Really enjoying the remix album.

Don’t get me wrong I like it - but something just grates a little - in the evening I listen to one album track 1 - 10 in order - in the daytime in the office I put my whole library (pc) on random! It’s just this isn’t one or the other - I know what I mean

:face_with_spiral_eyes:

Can’t do or handle random or shuffle unless it is an artist I don’t know.

Well that’s on random upstairs when working in the daytime - not listening proper!

Anyway a change of mood……

When Pharoah burned with fyah…no floating and snoozing here.
Wonderful, gutsy spiritual jazz.

Pharoah Sanders Jewels Of Thought, 2017 Anthology reissue cos my Impulse original was ‘borrowed’…and vanished. This’ll do until I get another - it sounds better over speakers than headphones, think a digital rip.

And in a similar vein my last b4 retiring for the night - a little gem

Samantha Fish, faster. Don’t have enough time to finish before work meetings start but not good enough reason to not make a start!

The thread title asks why.

Why not?

There’s no bad time for Clapton and Allman.

If you enjoy The Commodore recordings, as I do, this CD from GRP way back is good

That’s the poster and yes I’d heard that story too.
I just don’t think they’d get away with it today - Dr May would have a hard time justifying it!

Did you work out the message on the sleeve?
