On CD:-
Bob Dylan - Slow Train Coming
Inspired by @Martin.M’s Stand Up: Jethro Tull’s first, This Was (still my favourite Tull, sounds so fresh and bluesy).
Mono, wide spine from 1968.
May get my Stand Up out after.
IMO the best from AS Series I own
Just to round off Tull: Stand Up 2nd press, 1969.
Edit/ Yep, still think This Was is my favourite Tull.
Maybe I should try Aqualung again, but I hardly ever play that.
Great live version of In And Out on this.
Julie Driscoll & Brian Auger Open mono, 1967.
Just a fab album
Isole Natale is one of my desert islands.
Led Zeppelin. Have played Physical Graffiti a few times in the last week. Thought I would move on to this. Not played it in a while. Seems more stripped down, not sure there are any keyboards or acoustic guitars on it at all. I like the album but I still hate the cover.
It’s persisting down over a dark and dismal North Yorks. today, so I’m stuck indoors doing those household tasks which we all keep putting off … … … like stripping down a double oven and cleaning it … … … what fun!
As usual, Alpha Boys’ School Radio is helping keep me sane, and focused, with their outstanding Jah choons.
Great radio station, that! I like Alpha a lot
Visited a used vinyl store here in Charlotte - think I will be visiting again…prices were pretty reasonable. It is a bit painful to purchase stuff I already had in perfect shape and sold for a song. (pun not intended.)
No, no…pub is always intended!
Sorry, Stevie - I fixed my typo!
Sniff ‘n’ the Tears. Driver’s Seat. Original single. Saw these guys back in about 79, such a great catchy song.
According to Sir page, this us the “heaviest” Zap record.
I’m agree.
Looking through a CD box, I found this. Totally forgotten I had it.
The wonderful Annette Peacock
Abstract-Contact
Havent heard the Bloomfield/Kooper in years!
Decades…
Must get a copy.
Wonder what I’ll think of it after all this time.
