What I’ve been listening to …

Why….

Huge fan of Anne’s singing and Nancy’s axe work, and yes, I did love the big hair, shoulder pads and satin!

This isn’t my usual listening but I sort of moved from the Drive-by Truckers and ended up listening to some John Hiatt (who to my shame I wasn’t very familiar with).

Played a couple on Tidal including this one, does anyone have any knowledge of the vinyl?

Not sure how to classify it, Roots Rock/blues/American maybe?

Pretty much sussed it there, if you like the this, and want to delve a little more, check out Bring The Family as your first port of call and enjoy.

Thanks for that, currently playing Same Old Man which I also like. I have Bring The Family up next.

And of course it should have been “Americana”

Makes a nice change from my usual Stoner/Space rock.

I always had a huge crush on Nancy.
We saw them live in July 2016. They were brilliant!
