What are you listening to in 2023 and why might anyone be interested?

I saw him at the Nottingham Metropole a short while ago, a 230 seater small venue. It was very good. I was then surprised to see that the London date on the tour is the Royal Albert Hall, over 20 times bigger!

The new Paul Rodgers album - Midnight Rose. Brilliant

His first album of new music for over 20 years. Only 8 tracks and 34 minutes but it’s great. He still has that voice. And…… it’s on the iconic Sun Records label!!! They just don’t sign anyone….Elvis/Johnny Cash/Roy Orbison/Jerry Lee Lewis to name but a few.

Or what should have been the third, the Trident Sessions?

Because it’s one if the most beautiful albums I’ve ever heard so I play it regularly. What a voice. Lovely production.
