Getting all loved up at Jug towers tonight.
For no apparent reason - not driving a truck but on a lovely River Deben walk - got an earworm of Willin. So home now and playing Little Feat Sailin Shoes.

From 1972 this album is a tucked away gem in the Steve Miller Band catalogue.
Side 1 is pretty average stuff, containing the track ‘Enter Maurice’ with the lyric “The pompitous of love” which Steve would reprise in another song.
But Side 2 of the album is just something else. Four tracks of absolute perfection. The blueprint of what was to come.
