What are you listening to in 2023 and why might anyone be interested?

Love that album! Haven’t played it for a while so I thinks that’s my next one. Pretty sure I saw them tour around the time of this album, but it’s a bit hazy now :grinning:

You getting tetchy today? This and your subtle dig at me

Yes, I saw them live after Jordan: The Comeback was released, so I suspect you’re right as I don’t think they toured that often.

Screen and keyboard packed away, kicking off with some London Grammar, Californian Soil.

Was supposed to be seeing Think Floyd tonight but it’s been a long week of 4am starts and late finishes so will stay at home and chill.

Qobuz made a gesture of a free album so one on my list has been this expensive Hi Res album. Thought I’d try it on ask for it and those nice people at Qobuz sent it over to my account.

The 192khz 24bit version is just amazing. But it does come at an exorbitant price.

Dark Star (a song about Joan Baez) is a favourite.

A slow burning pleasure, as good as the guest list suggests. Have the Vinyl but gone for the lazy option on Qobuz.

Hackney Diamonds - some old geezers.

Nobody does The Stones quite like these guys.

It’s taken three or four plays, but some of the choons which didn’t exactly grab me first time round are now insinuating themselves into my consciousness.

Anyway, wasn’t that always the way with many of The Stones albums?

Nice one, old geezers. :notes: :musical_note: :guitar: :drum:

Metallica | S&M | 1999
Back in from walking the pooch while we stayed dry in the eye of storm Babet (she hates the rain). Babet is now back so all the window shutters closed, a stiff Jack Daniels poured, Grado Statement 1000s on and some favourite Metallica cranked to the max.
