Foehn Trio, a really good album!

Murcof. Martes. 2002.
Was unique at the time.
First album by Murcof defied genres and still hearing its influences.

Whenever I play this I remember Peel on the night Lennon was assassinated saying something to the effect that ‘for those too young to know’ he was playing How ‘so they would’. It’s a beautiful song from a beautiful album & Peel was spot on. A grit in the eye moment at the time.

Hall and Oates. 2nd Album 1973. CD.

Only 37 minutes but really good imho.

Later: “Robert Fripp said of his friend’s undoubted talent: “Daryl’s pipes were a wonder. I have never worked with a more able singer.””

Especially for Mrs QS, who has been working hard in the garden all day planting Winter flowers in the pots and Bulbs for next spring. :hibiscus: :wilted_flower: :blossom: :cherry_blossom: :bouquet:

‘All Things Must Pass’ – George Harrison.

Not a big fan of the 50th anniversary remix due to the irritating bass boost, but one track that sounds better than the original is ‘The Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let it Roll)’ where you can hear the excellent backing vocals in all their glory.

One day I’d love to explore what Sir Frankie and George created…

Glorious…
