Cream | Wheels of Fire | 1968
Because the White Room ear worm got to me while walking the pooch this evening. Playing the studio album not the live Fillmore second on this deluxe.

Cream | Wheels of Fire | 1968
Flipping over to live at the Fillmore just for some Toad and Ginger Baker who was absolutely on fire for this.

Critiques of the remixes themselves aside, these sets are superb for the vinyl quality itself: flat, super quiet and clean across all six albums.

No, not yet, but er, thanks Dread for that image of such pulchritudinous podiatry.

At least Isca’s were socked!

Jack Bruce & Robin Trower | Truce | 1981
I wanted some more Cream but decided on Jack Bruce who always goes well with Robin Trower and this has a Cream vibe about it.

Arthur Blythe - Lennox Avenue Breakdown

Recorded in 1979 with a cast including
Arthur Blythe – alto saxophone
James “Blood” Ulmer – guitar
Cecil McBee – bass
Jack DeJohnette – drums.

A great up beat album with classic sleeve art.

Enjoying Tucky Buzzard from this superb 5 LP boxset.
Recorded over half a century ago but benefiting here from a fine SQ on the Demon label, and incidentally this 2018 release boxset is still available via Amazon UK for less than 50 measly quids, bit of a bargain! :grinning: :+1:

Black Sabeth - Paranoid (2009 Remastered)

Given the Atrium Closed is so good with the rock genre etc, it would seem rude not to play this! Incredible!
