What are you listening to in 2023 and why might anyone be interested?

Crazy isn’t it !!!

I’ve got tickets for Germany and Dublin as might as well have a few days away if I’m going to spend that much on Twickenham tickets.

Mischa Maisky, Bach J.S.: 6 suites for solo cello. Kuniko’s solo Bach made me think of this or Trevor Pinnock’s harpsichord. Playing this first. Thanks @crispyduck and @TheKevster. :relaxed:

I have been decorating my listening room. Finally finished and put my boxes all back together. Yippee!
Now what to play first. How about this.

On vinyl of course.

Up Next a classic from Iggy Pop.

Absolutely amazing that in such a Short space of time that David Bowie was involved with 3 or 4 seminal albums.

It’s great to have my main system up and running again. I’ve really missed it.
Last 2 Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run on vinyl followed by this.

I like Radiohead but this is my favourite. Thom Yorkes vocals on Fake Plastic Trees always gets the hairs standing up.

Breakfast on R3. Today proved interminably dull and dreary without Amol ‘Gen Zee’ Rajan.

I’ll be stripping mine out today as the new isolation platform is being installed tomorrow, along with the new Vinyl racks.
Really can’t wait to get all my records out of all these boxes, not to mention to be able to walk around in the cabin without fear of the LP12 jumping around… :crossed_fingers:t4::partying_face:

Hmm yes it’s not my favourite job. It has been 5 years since I did full strip down and rebuild!!
The decorating forced me into it.
Sounds like once you get your room sorted it will be fantastic and worth the effort.
Sadly I have albums in boxes etc all over the place. That’s my next job!
