Guitarist Sonny Sharrock with his Sonny Sharrock Band - Highlife.
An album of outstanding guitar playing from one of the greats. Interesting this album contains a cover of John Coltrane’s Giant Steps and a Pharoah Sanders piece Venus/Upper Egypt.
Then Sonny slips in a track ‘’Kate (Variations On A Theme By Kate Bush).

Hi everyone, I’m back😁
These guys were the support for Dream Theater last night, but their sound setup was awful. I thought they had more to give than their 30 minute terrible set delivered so queued them up now we’re home.
They are a lot better than they were last night and really enjoying this album…
