Tord Gustavsen Trio - Opening

Tord Gustavsen (Piano), Steinar Raknes (Double Bass, Electronics) and Jarle Vespestad (Drums).

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… kicking off this Sunday morning with Tord’s ‘Opening’ and he along with Steinar and Jarle are sounding sublime! My wife and I saw them play last night and they were fantastic, we really enjoyed the performance. Life is sweet…

Zero 7 | The Garden | 2006
Laid back, downtempo, electronic easy listening with vocals. This unfortunately was the last decent album they produced.

Talking Heads - Remain In Light. Good grief, I’d forgotten just how good this record is. Sadly, I never saw them live but I did catch David Byrne live years later.

Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… a mention from @doctor_raye the other day had me place in the queue and now taking out for a spin and the opening track is sounding mighty fine! …looking forward to the rest of the album.
