Tomorrows Warriors - I Am Warrior (Qobuz)
Really enjoying this fine compilation recorded Live At The Jazz Cafe showcasing fresh upcoming talent supported by The Jazz Warriors Organisation.
Order the 2LP set from Bandcamp and all proceeds go to The Tomorrows Warriors Trust, worthy cause to support the nurturing of fresh UK Jazz talent.

Sinead O’Connor: Universal mother. Lovely album but so sad.
Now playing…
Anouar Brahem - Souvenance: Music for Oud, Quartet and String Orchestra
Anouar Brahem (Oud), François Couturier (Piano), Klaus Gesing (Bass Clarinet), Björn Meyer (Bass) and Pietro Mianiti (Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana).
Streaming on Qobuz (96/24)… continuing on this morning with one of my favorite albums from Anouar. It is simply a beautiful album and Anouar along with his quartet and orchestra are sounding sublime!
Just love this album…
Buzzcocks - Love Bites - 1978
Nice hearing this again, been a while.
On my feet all day, now sitting back and relaxing to this masterpiece…
New ERA-1s are getting there and sounding better and better (more as I remember) after a few more hours earlier today running in on Roon Radio.
Superb fullness, tonal balance and soundstage from the Quads at this modest low volume and the DAC-v1 is ticking along just nicely above 40 atm (usually seriously listen at 55-65). After a busy day, I’m tired and may risk falling asleep to Mr Ferry and his band!
Qobuz/Roon 44.1/16
On vinyl…
Simply Red - A New Flame.
Some excellent deep bass work on here. I’m listening to the HiRes version on QOBUZ- thanks for the recommendation!
Tim Burgess - Oh No I Love You
Track 3 seems to sum up what it is all about “A Case For Vinyl”.
