Quite enjoying this… now to find on vinyl.
Mipso - Old Time Reverie
CD|2015
Bluegrass
Miles Davis + 19 Miles Ahead / 2009 Columbia / EU CD / 88697491972
First play of this excellent new purchase, which has Miles backed by an Orchestra under the very capable direction of Gil Evans.
Played the LP a LOT of times - wonderful album !!!
Dexter Gordon - Go - 1962
Another great jazz artist I’ve not played much of in the past, enjoying this though.
Black. Wonderful Life. My wife’s original vinyl. Nice album.
“Wonderful Life is the debut album by English singer Black (the stage name of Colin Vearncombe). Released in 1987, it peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart in September of that year.” Wiki.
Now Playing…

Streaming on Qobuz (88.2/24)… after running out for a quick haircut and picked up some milk, I’m returning and taking this lovely album from Gretchen out for a spin, and she and the talented group of musicians working with her are sounding sublime! A lovely album from March 2021 and worth the time to give a spin…
Nils Lofgren – I Came To Dance
Seeing what turns up… a few hours to go… was surprised by the
Grace Jones track, might need to revisit her output as dismissed it before based on what made the charts and a festival performance I caught.
Last 5 minutes and then it’s back to the real world.
What an eclectic mix today. Not all posted as I had a friend come for a listen. Mix included The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raif, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Rival Sons amongst others.
…and this is the end😊
Chris Squire - Fish Out of Water - 1975 (2018 re-master)
Bill Bruford on drums as well, maybe not up there with Yes at their majestic best but a fine album all the same.
