David Crosby | Croz | 2014
Probably my favourite solo album from the man, he is on great form and in fine voice here.
After a busy few days some quality idling - Pool Real on the box and a Cherrython on the turntable. Not arf bad.
I absolutely luved that piece of music from Clapton. Well played!
Although not really noted for instrumentals I thought EC did a good job with the Edge Of Darkness track specifically.
C.C.S
Track 5 “Whole Lotta Love” was the theme music to Top of the Pops.
CCS or Collective Consciousness Society, was a British supergroup.
I agree Alan, what he did on this was a wonderfully haunting piece of music that stays with me to this day.
A few trax off the new up and coming Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit album due out June entitled Weathervane
Paul Simon - Surprise.
Recently had to re-buy the Prefabs catalogue on 24bit it just knocks the socks off the 16bit versions particularly the album in question.
Always had a soft spot for Ronnie Wood….often overlooked. This my favourite solo album and track……featuring George Harrison on duet vocals and guitar, very sweet. I had the urge to listen a few months ago……not available. Now on Qobuz to stream, download……or cd preorder on Amazon……which is very expensive.
That Masahiko Togashi LP is superb!
I was listening to them in the car coming back from Manchester earlier, thinking how good Mark King is on bass … might lob some on in a bit
Gazza, is that the I’ve Got My Own Album To Do?, I have been looking to acquire for some time now, but as you say, the price is very expensive. Shame.
