I think this is the first time I am going to disagree with you. The original album is just a magical whole. From the very first strike to the last whisper it has to be one of my top 3 albums of all time.
That and The Catherine Wheel posted up by @steviebee a few days back are brilliant. Eno & Byrne such a great combo.
Sarathy Korwar, Kalak. I bought this clear vinyl LP at a Sarathy gig late last year. It’s good, but he’s better live. This is definitely a grower though.
You dont need to disagree, look at my prior post replying to Tony
Lol, I should read the thread properly.
‘Thriller’ - Michael Jackson
This LP, a bog standard recent pressing, sounds so good on my system. No doubt in large part to the genius of Quincy Jones. Next LP I am hunting down is Quincy’s ‘The Dude’ which I understand from comments on this thread is well worth shelling out for (not heard it myself).
A little trivia for those who remember the film;
Now Playing…

Streaming on Qobuz (44.1/16)… it has been a while since I have taken one of Stephan albums out for a spin and I noticed this new release from ECM, so now is as good a time as any. Enjoying the opening track, ‘A Song For Thor,’ and look forward to the rest of the album!
